I uploaded my picture for yesterday and later cropped it and would prefer to have the cropped version for that day. When I try to delete it and upload the new one I still see the old one. Is it possible to replace a picture for a given day?

Sounds like your browser is holding old info (cache) try refreshing the page, that should work.

When I wanted to change a photo, I had to log out and log back on to get the new photo.

I had to open a new browser window to get it to change. Thanks for your help!

Hey guys, all the these your discribing are just more complicated ways of getting rid of old info being held in your browser. All you have to do is press the refresh button.

Yeah, browsers these days don't always refresh everything you download, just to cut down on the reloading. Sometimes you have to hit refresh a couple times or do the other suggestions listed above.

@DefaultArtist@mach5 The fact that we're using the JavaScript plugin to display the pictures might be what's complicating the matter..

I have a separate question that goes along with the same topic:

If I replace a picture, do the comments get deleted as well, or do they stay. I want the comments to stay, so I am cautious on replacing the picture.

@KellyBlick If you upload a new picture, the comments do stay.

... which could be confusing, if the subject of the picture is quite different.

I think i[/i] that if you DELETE the picture, then the comments are also deleted. Then, of course, later uploading a new picture for that day starts out without any comments. To preserve existing comments, just upload a new file while 'editing' the current picture.

I'm having trouble changing my profile picture. Is this the cache that's holding on to my old photo?
