My rabbit, Jazmine, and my cat, Emma Leigh. They were actually getting along with each other for more than a half an hour.

A cordial, wise and interesting birch ent that lives in my neighbors yard. He is quite pleasant to be around for a Birch, they tend to be a bit overwhelmingly flamboyant. :P

View of our backyard at 2AM during snowfall. The flash of the camera caused the railing of the deck to come out completely white at the bottom, but whatever. Looks serene tonight, not going to be fun tomorrow.

Sawyer with his Uncle John! This pic is so funny. Sawyer was sitting in Uncle John's lap so sweetly and so I ran to get my camera. By the time I got back he was trying to wriggle his way down. He started fussing and the look on Uncle John's face is priceless! It wasn't the sweet picture I was going for but that's ok!

Since I'm probably not going to be able to get to the NY/NJ Metallica shows in a couple weeks, I decided I'd use the Christmas money I'd been saving for them to get us a small TV to have in the bedroom.

I only had one lab today, since my teacher canceled the morning classes. Here we see the mighty oscilloscope in its natural habitat: my lab bench.

This is the first time I let Daniel feed himself with a utensil. He was eating cottage cheese and didn't really make a mess (other than his face). At dinner, he wasn't interested in eating , so I loaded up his fork and put it on his tray. Sure enough, he ate it and continued to eat that way (me loading up the fork, him feeding himself). Perhaps an A-HA moment for a way to get him to eat.

postcard

Q- How much text can these postcards hold?
A- 500 characters. That's about 3 average size paragraphs.

Q- I noticed I can write more than the actual area on the card, how does that work?
A- The text area on your screen is slightly different then the print area of the actual card. Don't worry, your
message will fit on the card completely intact.

Q- Will the card include a link to my original photo?
A- Yes. Take a look in the lower right corner of the card. A link to your calendar and the image you are sending will be included there.

Q- How comparable are ShutterCal postcards to the look and feel of traditional postcards?
A- Honestly, ShutterCal postcards are superior to the average card you'd find in a store. They are printed on thick premium paper with top quality inks. They also have a beautiful glossy finish that makes the image pop while adding a extra layer of protection to the photo.

Noteable Notes:
Postcards go through the riggers of postal system!
These are high quality images passing through the crazy mail sorting machines of the world. Your cards are going to look great, but keep in mind that they are going to get stamped, postmarked, and handled. It all adds to the characteristics that make postcards great!

Postcards have unpredictable delivery times:
We did some tests and are amazed by the results! You could see your postcards reaching their destinations within 3 days! Other times your cards can take 2+ weeks to arrive ...postcards are just crazy like that.

Postcards are fun, but customized postcards are amazing!:
Your photography changes everything! It's always been neat to send or receive a postcard, but your photo instead of a default stock image is going to add an impressive amount of fun.
