About Me:

I'm in a major period of change.

I'm pretty proud to have been one of the earliest shuttercal users. I started this project on May 16, 2007, and moved all my pictures from Fotki to this site as soon as I could get mach5 to set me up with an account. After a year on the site, I still couldn't get enough and started my side project, thewrittenword.

I actually stole this from Facebook because it shows more of the room than my own picture. It was so satisfying to see the complete Decorations for Masquerade! I wish I had a good shot of Emery's kickass chandelier, though.

After a long night of dancing, a long day of sleeping, and a great ballet performance with Nicholas and Carey, this happened. I have a new roommate again.

Deirdre has this awesome picture in her office. Also, I met with the new dance editor for the Brooklyn Rail, and somebody is going to start writing pieces for them!

I voted early, but went with my roommate to the polls to live vicariously. What a great day!!

this picture is such a cop out-- I'm sorry guys, the inspiration has been lacking a lot lately. my second visit to City Center for dance within a week (both at the invitation of someone not myself!) this night was lar lubovitch with david.

Nick and I made a vegetable feast from my market supplies. (ok, traveler4 helped-- a lot!) Yummy local plants!!

I went to Pilates on Sunday! It's on University Place. Later, I hiked up to Astoria for a Masquerade decompression, and ran into my cousin.

Did a little market shopping. These guys were awesome banjo pickers, and played the mermaid song I've known since I was little-- but with an extra verse I'd never heard before.

I didn't actually take a picture Tuesday or Wednesday, so this is filler. Browsing the market, I learn that cauliflower comes in non-white colors...

After shopping at the market, Nick and I went to Chelsea to look at galleries and get even more food. We passed this awesome playground.
