This guy was very festively dressed. His pants and shoes had hello kitty on it. Glitter suit jacket and glitter tux.
Hah, I can't believe I actually uploaded this photo! Here's the story behind it:

This photoshoot of sorts was done as a favor to my friend Jordanne who has her senior graphic design show in February. She had the neat idea of doing modern adaptations of fairytales and then editing them with cool photoshop/screenprinting techniques (this picture is in no way the finished product!).

Anyway, apparently there is a Grimm Brothers tale about a princess who has to knit six sweaters for her brothers who have been turned into swans (...?). OH, and she also can't talk or laugh until all 6 are finished. Any other knitters out there think that would be absolutely horrendous? Me too.

When Jordanne asked me if I wanted to do a knitting related photo-op where I'd get to dress up like a princess, my response was 'um...absolutely I will!'. I didn't know at the time my mouth would get sewn shut and I'd end up looking rather emo and creepyish. Hah, that said, we did have fun with the shoot regardless, and she definitely got the shots she wanted. It's certainly one to add to the book of college memories....sorry if it creeps you out. It creeps me out too.

In the early morning hours before having to get up and fly home. This shot is the culmination of what I learned throughout the week about photographing the stars.

This is actually several shots layered together to make the final shot. I did a small test as I was putting it together, and wasn't too excited about how it would look. But once the computer finished rendering, and showed me the final image, my jaw dropped!

I wish we had nice clear skies at home so I could do this more often. I can't wait to go to Arizona in the summer, when I can stay out all night, and not be freezing my hands off!

'Colors'.

Today I put acrylic colors on my mirror and took a photo of it.
One of the perks of living at this altitude is that we're just above the cloud cover when it settles into the valleys at the end of the day. If you're coming back from town, you get to see the sunset twice: once over the ocean and again over the clouds. One of these days, I'll figure out some good white balance settings for these sunsets. (Lumix DMC-FZ28)
Dear universe, we're gonna' call this a swing and a miss for when I said for halloween I wouldn't mind a little head.  Ouch, no, you really didn't just read that, move along, move along, I'm sure there's some nice safe birdy birdy pictures out there, rofl.
And for the low low price of only $150 you can take home this lovely little, um, toy from the Fetish Art Festival.  I have just two words for you...Yikes...and...Yikes. rofl
