EXPLANATION:

Today was my homerooms fundrasier thingy. It's dearly beloved and favourited teacher, Mr Baric's last year this year so we thought we'd make his last fundraiser one to remember :)
Stuck his head through a hole and sold water bombs to people to throw at him.
Much much fun!!
Got a bit out of hand though, when the people would buy the bombs but then go behind the crowd (who were sitting on the grand stand) and then throw their bombs at them. So our homeroom faught back with the balloons not-yet-sold and somehow got into a bit of a water fight. Damn good fun!!

Then after school I caught ~DancingKoalas bus and went to her house! We had planned a girly weekend, but today we ended up watching Sweeney Todd (Strong bloody violence) with her brother and 2 step brothers. Fun fun!
And yeh, then watched some random, hilarious movie on SBS which was Asian, yet nothing we've ever seen before. I can probably find out what it was called, but that would mean standing up. "Kung Fu Hustle"
Though we only saw the second half, I highly recommend viewing this masterpiece with your friends, late at night when everything is fucking hilarious! Here's my favourite 10mins [link]

Anyway. This image is of a few trees (dah) in the Tahune Airwalk grounds. A bush fire made the sun go red, and well yes :)
Alysha's house is surrounded by trees, so I thought this photo was appropriate :)
1
EXPLANATION:

I didn't actually have my camera with me this weekend, so yeah :)
This is a photo of a snake at the Sydney Wildlife World thing, in Sydney :D Don't know why I chose it for today, but hey :)

Today was a fun filled blast of a day!!
I'll try my best to describe it to you
Well I woke up at around 11am, at Alysha's house (~DancingKoalas). Had a bit of brunch. Had a shower. And then James (Alysha's brother) came back from his party thing with 5 friends. They ate food for a while and put too much cheese on the pizza, so that the middle was still frozen () and played PS3 games for a little bit. Then when they all went to have their "pizza", the power went off!
We didn't really know what to do, but then saw the Poker box on the table from the night before :)
About 8 of us played, and I was doing quite well pretty early on :XD: Then on the last go we all decided to go "all-in" and one of the boys won it all with a pair of 10s :jawdrop:
Good fun!

We didn't do a whole lot after that, or at least nothing I can remember (because the boys went home after that... p.s. my brother was there as well!!).
Then at around 6:40pm or so, Alysha's dear mother drove us to Flick's 18th :) Second 18th of the day; 5th 18th in a fortnight!!!
Alysha was a pirate-princess kinda thing (rather fascinating :aww:) and I was decked out in everything pirate, except a sword.
So much fun! A guy called Ed came as a princess in a skimpy yellow dress with fake boobs and danced with everyone :P Good fun. Mostly everyone was dressed up, and my brother was also at this party!
We all did the Nutbush, Macareena (however you spell it), YMCA and Grease, to name a few... I was the beginning of a congo-line somewhere inbetween xD

Yeah, anyway, happy to be alive for today :)

EXPLANATION:

This is a photo (taken not long before today) of a roof at my school. I liked the way the grooves in the roof made shadows on the next groove. And I like the colours :)

Today was the sad parting of the Goodrickes house and I. Time for me to go home, but what a great weekend it was :D

I woke up at 11am (ish) again, and had to wait ages for Alysha (~DancingKoalas) to be finished in the bathroom :P In the meantime I did not much, sat around, had brunch, read, did a crossword... yeah :XD:
And then I think I taught Alysha and Alex and James how to play a card game called Eric, which Lucy (=evalovinlucy) taught me :D Though maybe I taught them yesterday... I don't know x)

Then while the boys were playing some game, Alysha and I went through 2 boxes of popcorn while watching Ever After. Wonderful movie
Then the dear drove me home!! Yay, what fun!!

EXPLANATION:

So today I slept in until 8:30am, and got grounded! I never ever get grounded, I swear, so I'm not allowed out at all this week (not even to youth) because I was away for the whole weekend and yeah... parents :jawdrop:

This is a photo of the sunset (I pressume) which was taken a while ago but I've been wanting to put it up for a while and didn't have any photos from today soo this one gets a go! At last :D

SO YEAH tonight was the last episode of Skins, the tv show I adore with all my heart, so my brother and I watched that together. It was so sad! I don't want to talk about it but, it was damn good and fantastic!!!
Goodbye Chris, Jal, Michelle, Tony, Maxxie, Anwar, Sketch, Sid, and Cassie... see you next season Effy.
That is all

EXPLANATION:

A few weeks ago, in Physical Science, Chadene (friend) found a little lense thingy that had come off some other thingy we couldn't find. So she broke it into pieces and these little glass/mirror bits came out.
She said I could keep them :P
So tonight I didn't go to youth, because I'm grounded all this week, and took the camera up to my room to take photos of objects instead.

This is one of the photos! I was rather tired and bored and my computer was being a bitch; so yah
Nice little photo of some glassy things.
I tired using different coloured backgrounds and arrangements but none of them really turned out so well as the blue background and this kind of arrangement was a better one in the group of blue :)

Give me your opinions!!
5
EXPLANATION:

Today was interesting.
Had an hour of Hum, watching depressing documentary about Gallipoli; Had an hour of Science, good fun; Recess, nothing special really... oh yeah, SNOW; Physical Science, played around with dyes and gloves, filling them with air, water and dye; Free, mac lab!; Lunch, Hung out with Aliisa in library where her phone rang and she answered it in the middle of the llibrary so I shoved a book in her face; Photography, was in mac lab again and using textures in photoshop.
And then I didn't really do anything after school. Oh the sheer bliss of being grounded!!

This photo was taken last night and I'm using it for today because it reminds of the dye we mucked around with in PS :XD:
6
Today iPhoto went bung to the ceiling so I had to edit with Photoshop (which I hardly use) so that was certainly different :P
Today was quite nice I believe. Not much to it, kinda just flew by..
Though the exciting thing that happened is:
My grade got 2 new guys today. One is English (Paul; in my class) and the other is Canadian (Aram or however you spell it, funny name, not my class) so yeah. What are the chances of that? :P
British, North American, and Australian. All English speakers but with completely different accents. I can't get over this coincidence :XD:

This was taken on APril 11th when Annette and I got off the ferry and walked to Manly Beach. It's beautiful, right?
7
HAPPY OLYMPICS EVERYBODY!!
Sorreh I don't have a photo for it, I feel bad :( here's a pretty one to make up for it :)
But did you see the Opening Ceremony?
OH MY GOD! Absolutely fantastic!! In the paper the next day a sentence grabbed my eyes: "And of course, everybody was Kung Fu fighting!" :D
Coolness.

This is a photo of Sydney! I thought it was appropriate for today because the Olympics were held in Sydney just 8 years ago so yerrrr x)

Ha I was doing my homework about an hour before uploading this and I was just wondering why I had a pen in my mouth? It's still there since I put it there "temporarily". Hah. Go my memory!

So yes, good luck to all 204 countries participating!! And also good luck to ~DancingKoalas who is representing some country (I can't remember) with another person in her Homeroom Olympics!
8
EXPLANATION:

Hah. So yerrr, today I was missing Annette!!! I don't know why, maybe it's because it's only 105 days until I get to see her again! Almost reached the 100 mark :aww:

But yes, today I took the time to relax and read (I finished my book, it was so sad!!) and I cleaned my room :XD:
It's much nicer now, especially since dad went up to Chickenfeed (cheap store place thingy) and bought me a powerboard, so now there's not a million cords running around the place :P

This photo is of Annette (left) and myself (right) while we were in Sydney, on our 3rd day! We went to the Powerhouse Museum with my friend Karen, her husband Justin, and their baby Ellise! Such a nice day; this is us on the tv with our camera :XD:
9

This photo was taken [in the future.. oooooh] but I didn't have a photo for today but did at least remember a bit of it :D

I chose this one for today because I had a total of 5 cups of tea to get me through the day!! I'm addicted, officially!
I also wore my hair up for the first time in a long time, and it felt so good :)
Not much else to say except, this photo was taken on the school camera I am borrowing for tonight! It's the most beautiful thing ever  Apart from my faithful camera ;)
Ah, this also isn't my teapot! It's the one I found in the art room and decided to make it model for me :XD:
10

Taken at the Sydney Aquarium, Sydney.

Today was cold, no, today was FREEZING!!!
Not much happened, though I spoke to the new English boy for the first time today and he has the same accent as Sid from Skins. Heaps cool!
No photos were taken today, sorreh, but I chose this one because it has a cold feel to it and today was quite the same :)
11
Taken at the Tahune Airwalk, Tasmania.

So today they were like "Yeah, we're gonna have snow within the next few days and it will be cold and down to 100m we think"...
Or something along those lines!
STOKED! SNOW!!! HELL YES BRING IT ON!!!
It was very cool today, and not as in the temperature. Though yes it was rather cold. ANYWAYS I went out for lunch with the girlies to Maccas, and then we went to the pet shop and saw gorgeous bunnies :XD:
Then tonight I had not one but TWO youth groups!! My monday one (SubMgere) was having it today because it was a Zone3 night (social event) and was EPIC FUN. Though I had many EPIC FAILS ;p On the way home, driving down the southern outlet, it started snowing :w00t!: Most wonderful thing ever! So we had to drive at 60km/hr :P
I got home 15mins before I had to go to my other youth group (2o3/D-Train... I call it 2o3 :)) so had dinner and got changed in a flash and walked up the road in the rain!
The night was quite, meh, tiring :P I had so many good jokes with the girls tonight and made some good friends :D
Quite happy with how today turned out, hope there's snow tomorrow :boogie:
12
So this is 'Scout', ReB's (*SadisticSorrowX little fella which I sewed together last week for her 18th which was ages ago :D
I used the school camera, and experimented with the lighting and background a lot and liked this one the best... I even took apart my lava lamp and used the lamp from that, stuck it in through a witches-hat so it would spotlight 'Scout' in the image
But yeah, that kinda blurred even though I was using a tripod.

Mmmmmm what else...? Well today was quite interesting. Half the school did not turn up because it SNOWED!!! So our classes were tiny (12 people) and work minimal :)
Mrs "Marcel" Neilson was the only teacher who couldn't get to school, and she's the teacher everyone hates/the uniform police, so everyone who was at school wore their non-uniform jackets :D
For sport we were allowed to choose whatever we wanted to do... out of Soccer, Basketball and Table Tennis! I chose Table Tennis and had lots of fun with the girls (Rocio, Susan and Aliisa) :)

Photography today was hard, but I'm learning
13

I'm naming today 'Black Day' for the following reasons:
- Dad had some heart problems and had to be taken to hospital
- We found out that Ellesha died (circled in the photo above)
- Today, the news was packed with all sorts of horrible information about the people in Georgia.

It rained all day today, for a good reason, it wasn't a happy one at all.

This photo is dedicated to Ellesha Nouta, the sister I once had.
The story goes like this: She was adopted as a baby by my uncle and aunt (dad's cousins). At a tender age of 14 she ran away from home, and came to live with us for about 8 months when I was hardly 2. I don't remember much from that time, I was too little, but one thing I do remember was when we had helium filled balloons and were breathing it in and having a ball :)
Then she moved out, got back on track, started going to college, and had a baby when she was just 17 or 18. She called this one Tyson. A couple of years later she had another baby, also called Ellesha. It was surprising she didn't call her Stevie because when she was little she wanted that to be her name :)
After that she was diagnosed with some form of cancer and depression, and only yesterday afternoon was found dead in a pub in Hobart, with her eyes open.

My sister, for 8 months, so much fun... I hope she's in a better place now and her children will be looked after well, even though our dear Ellesha never married. She passed away when she was only 29.

This photo is very old, she was a teenager when this was taken (before she ran away from home), and I'm in my mummy's arms in the top right-hand corner above my dear daddy who is holding my dear brother.

Spare a thought not only for my family, but for those in Georgia suffereing right now under the huge arm of the Russians.

EXPLANATION:

Today I was home sick, it was kinda nice :)
I think I took this photo today, I remember it was a really nice sunset today anyway but it may have not been this one pictured!
So I have the flu/a cold/i'm ill/i'm sick. So many ways to describe a horrible condition :P
Daddy came home today, which was good, and he's well back to normal again :D As *SadisticSorrowX would say... "w00tcakes"
15
EXPLANATION:

It's like one of those moments where I would be the only person in my household to find funny :)
I was buttering a slice of toast and had another to do after my first one, so kinda took a big blob of margarine and just before I got a chance to spread, it fell off my knife and blobbed on the floor
:iconjarryplz:
I found it humorous, mother did not. About 5mins later she came back and saw the camera sitting on the bench and asked me what I had done with the camera.. I thought she was talking about the blob on margarine in the middle of the kitchen so I said "Took photos of it, though I got a little on the lens"
She didn't find this funny either :P I guess it either wasn't or I was just on a high. This didn't happen today mind you...

So I still got my cold, and now: a tooth ache (on left side of mouth), 2 ulcers on my tongue (on the right side), sore neck, knots in my back, I got about 4hrs sleep, and I'm not allowed to eat :P

Today I woke up at 11:36am (what the hell? mum never lets me sleep in) and went to =evalovinlucy's at around 3:00pm. She introduced me to The X Files. Excellent show. Then I was dropped off at the SubMerge 40hr Famine sleepover at the Margate Church, and it was good fun :D
We watched movies until 12:34am. Kat and I talked until 2:18am, and I didn't get to sleep until 4:10am :XD:
Then the boys came into the room at 7:30am and attacked us with pillows, waking me up, which was horrible and nasty and I sent the girlies to go get them. Girls outnumbered the boys by a fair bit, and I got my little bit of sleep :)

Yeah. Good day.
16
Today I can eat!! Not that I did a whole lot of it, because my stomach shrunk during the famine, but I tried to fit in as much as i could :D
Woken up after 3hrs of sleep by boys throwing pillows at you is not fun at all. Girlies got them back for me though
So yeah, food :) Didn't get hungry at all until I went into the kitchen to blow my nose and saw all the food they had for us.
:faint:
Today was a sodding wet one, and I met a few people and saw a lot of teachers... weird... and yeah I got home and I'm still sick :P
Once I got home, I stayed home. And I stayed in mum's cosy chair because I was 1) weak from the famine and not eating, 2) faint and hurting stomach from eating so quickly when I got the chance, 3) incredibly tired from lack of sleep, and 4) sick!
I like this photo. It reminds me of when I could go to school without coughing and spluttering on everyone for some reason :P
My cherry blossom in the front garden, it's so beautiful and just blooming. Actually, maybe at the peak of it's bloom.
Used the school camera for this shot and it was taken on the 13th just before sunset.
17
Today was such a nice short day! I was woken at 8:00am and had breakfast, which my parents and I fought a bit. So I went back to bed instead of getting ready for school.
Woke up again at 12:00pm in shock I had actually fallen asleep and slept through so much of school!!
The parents didn't seem to mind though, which was odd.
So I got to school at 1:30pm (half-way through lunch) and as I went to the office to sign in, my german teacher came out (bad timing) and gave me a lecture about missing my last 2 german classes. Eeeep, what do you do in a situation like that? I just agreed with everything he said and was soon saved by friend Cathryn because she needed me help to finish our hum ad :)
We got to the computer rooms (used both mac and pc) and well, couldn't actually get it to work! Cathryn went ahead and wrote what we had to say before we played the ad in front of the class, which was all very well, except we didn't have an ad to present :jawdrop:
So when we had to actually do our presentations (which was at around 2:10pm) we had "technical difficulties" and tried everything possible, so were sent back to the computers to try and figure it out :P
Which we never did... just spent half the time yelling at the machines for being so SLOW or taking photos of ourselves :XD:

This flower is from a flower-bush at school. It's real pretty :)
For my photography class, we had to find an ordinary object and make it grotesque. After this shot I killed the flower with a small rock to get the grotesque shot!
18
Today had a fairly sombre atmosphere to it...
It was the day of Ellecia's funeral. My adopted-second-cousin. Everyone who went to the burial at the graveside was family, and I met a lot of new people including her kids, for the first time, Tyson and Ellie. My brother and I had to wash up (because we were catering) and little Tyson (he's only about 11) was lovely and went around the church collecting all the dirty mugs and plates for me :) It was so sweet, and painful at the same time because he's the spittin' image of his mum.

This photo is of the beautiful rainbow patterns the chandelier produced when I got home!
19

This is the beautiful and good friend ~bananasphotography, Jessie!
We were doing a photography task together, because we both found it tricky so worked as a team :aww:
The stuff on the end of her nose is the pollen from the flower, to which I gave a cooler name; Cheezel dust.

A good day :)
