We went to Austrailia in 2003. This yellow Robin came down for a bit of cheese from Glen Trelfo's hand.(BBC photographer/videographer) I was delighted to see it again.

a peacock at a resort in panama. We visited the pearl islands and this was one just one of the beautiful views.

I took this photo during hurricaine IKE and the sky was not even gray, just a dingy white.. so I practiced Photoshop and put a beautiful blue sky behind it. not perfect but a beginning.

we made wild grape jelly today and these are the ones we couldn't reach. Food for the birdies...It turned out sooo good.

we saw the space station fly over last night. It was one of the first 'long exposure' photos and I wiggled the camera but one can see the 'track' I will work to get a better one next time...

my theme lately has definitely gone to the birds. This is a red tailed hawk who just flew away from a power pole.

today I am saddened by the news that the Gallapogos has been invaded by the tourist. It is my understanding from a friend that last year there were a mere 10,000 visitors and this year it has jumped to 150,000. It is effecting the animals. I am not certain of the details but it is a gorgeous place that needs to be protected.
