This morning as I walked past our atrium windows I noticed a large flock of birds dipping and diving around the backyard.   The birds were barn swallows or swifts after little flying bugs.   I just had to try to catch one mid flight....

How does a turtle wear such a turtle neck when the temp is over 100?   We chased a turtle back to the pond today..

Jasper, the red foal is only a week old.  Starbuckle, the buckskin is about 3 weeks old.   They already know how to communicate dominance.

These seeds are getting bigger every day.   I  will have all kinds of baby sago palms waving their fronds at me!

I would hate to see a plague of these fellows munching on a garden....it would be gone in an instant.  When it flew away its back legs just dangled...looked really strange.
