lauren and i went to see the price is right. we didn't win anything, but the people sitting next to us won $10,000...

went to the animal shelter... it broke my heart

dry run of the commute to school via bus. only takes half an hour...not bad

got Spore today... it's fun, i recommend it

went out w/ lauren and leigh... the night life here is sad

productive day...got laundry done and got a thing to go under my chair and protect the carpet... it has fun patterns on it!

lauren and i walked to some yummy quesadillas. my parents have said that you can guess how good the food is someplace by the amount of people eating there of that same ethnicity. mexican restaurant with nothing but mexican patrons must be good!

went to venice beach and had lunch at a raw foodist restaurant. raw foodism is certainly not for me, i would starve as a raw foodist...the only thing this food had going for it was nice presentation.

hung out in hollywood. that place is full of completely bizarre people, but there is fun public art...such as this oversized tv statue that allows anyone (even me) to be a tv show host...

first day of grad school... archaeological theory class w/ james brady. so far, i am less than thrilled about this. i just feel overwhelmed

a very productive day. got some reading done, bought a bike off of craigslist, made friends w/ the guy who sold me the bike, went into town and played pool, learned that the guy who made my coffee goes to the same school as me for the same thing... what a long day

jess visited... we played mini golf and attempted to skateboard

guilty pleasure bagel bite while reading for class...healthy, i know.

i do a lot of reading now... a lot of boring reading...

every tuesday there is a farmers market right outside of our apartment. it's really great for fresh veggies and fruit!

i never had to take the bus to school as a kid....now i get to! yay?

had to get out of the house after being in reading all day... city hall is nice

patrick and susannah (sp?) recorded the debates, so lauren and i went over for a debate dinner party

it was nice out, so i read outside... then we got hibachi dinner, but my picture of that turned out bad. yum.

lauren and i got not so great haircuts that we have since grown into...
