I bought this mirror at a yard sale for a dollar. It was a flat, gray color. I took some paint and about two hours and made it look old fashioned and gold. =)

One of my new necklaces... Four members of my family sell Lia Sophia and I cannot say no when they ask.. haha I feel bad if I don't buy from them, so I have a feeling I'll have lots of necklaces..

A day of reading manga (Paradise Kiss... one of my favorite girly mangas) in between college meetings and getting stuff ready for orientation in the coming weeks....

Skittles... I hadn't had Skittles in oh, god probably a year until I ate them at Jacob's today watching anime.. haha

This is Jacob's niece I met yesterday. She seemed to like me a lot, she even gave me a hug when I left. haha. She is being raised right - she loves Disney and Pixar movies. =D

Walking downtown... the buildings here are all amazing.

Today we walked around Portland to work on a mapping project, I just loved this house.

In my FYI class we are working close together with the community in Portland. Here we made a wall sized map of Portland. Each person searched the area and made their own interpretation of it, then we placed the squares together and created the entire city of Portland.It is hard to see by photo but all the roads connect together perfectly. This is just in progress, I couldn't get a picture of the final because of people always around it.
