At last... I got my Gorillapod! Thanks <a href='http://shuttercal.com/calendar/loogle/'>loogle</a>! <a href='http://shuttercal.com/calendar/thomasina/2009/4/3/'>(And I know I'm not alone.)</a>
4
Yeah, gorillapod was at work here.

A day at the Bagni Vecchi in Bormio (Valtellina, Italy), a 'spa and wellness center' (<a href='http://www.bagnidibormio.it/en/tbv_centro_termale_bormio.htm'>web page</a>). So good.
6
Varenna, Lake Como.
7
Uncle and niece. Last day together. For your eyes only - you won't find any other picture of her in the internet. :)
8
Back to Sardinia. Not surprisingly, my car's battery was dead.
9
Don't do it, Winnie! By the way, same place as April 16.
10
Free barbecue with thousands of people, waiting for the Faradda di li Candareri. I'll talk about it on August 14.
11
Trying to get the most of my last few days in heaven.
12
Same caption as yesterday. Argentiera beach, Sassari.
13

15
Last view of Sardinia: the port of Olbia.
16
And here we are, New Amsterdam.
17
Looks like I've got new neighbors in the building... And they look friendly.
18
I'm on exhibit at the MoMA! 'Viewers play a vital role in the creation of <i>Measuring the Universe</i> (2007), by Slovakian artist Roman Ondák (b. 1966). Over the course of the exhibition, attendants mark Museum visitors' heights, first names, and date of the measurement on the gallery walls. Beginning as an empty white space, over time the gallery gradually accumulates the traces of thousands of people.'
19
The view from the Manhattan Bridge: Brooklyn, the Brooklyn Bridge, Miss Liberty (behind the bar), and Manhattan, of course.
20
The storm is coming! Fortunately enough, I can count on my university's library - just in front of the Empire State Building.
21
The hidden treasure of Grove Court, in the Greenwich Village. <a href='http://www.forgotten-ny.com/Alleys/GREENWICH%20VILLAGE/green.html'>Read more about it (link)</a>.

23
The USPS main branch in Midtown West. Open 24/7. How good is that?
24
The High Line, formerly an elevated freight railroad, now a modern and experimental greenway. I discovered this place today, and enjoyed it so much that it is actually hard for me to describe it. Please have a look at the <a href='http://www.thehighline.org/'>official website (link)</a> and visit if you can.
25
Went to Central Park for a free performance of Euripides's <i>The Bacchae</i>. Perhaps it's just me, I keep enjoying what I do. Perhaps it's because I know it won't last long, with my classes starting next week. But there was something really powerful about this tragedy, and how it was adapted and performed.
26
The new Cooper Union Building, on Cooper Square, New York. I read about it <a href='http://www.walkingoffthebigapple.com/2009/08/cooper-unions-architectural-advancement.html'>here (link)</a> and decided it was worth a visit. Interesting indeed!
27
So-called burlesque show. Actually a striptease show. Boring, rather than fun/sexy/disturbing (that is, what one would expect from burlesque).
28
It really is the 'closest thing to a front row seat'. The Metropolitan Opera presented its free <a href='http://www.metoperafamily.org/metopera/broadcast/template.aspx?id=8586'><i>Summer HD Festival</i> (link)</a>. Tonight: <i>La Fille du Régiment</i>.
29
Hi, my name is <i>Prolagus</i>, and I have an obsession.

Creepy, and in poor taste. My neighborhood is mostly made of poor people. And by the way, 98% is non-white people - that child definitely does not have his father's eyes.
