Summer is winding down when these open. Now we sit back and wacth the summer colors fade and the fall colors erupt. On this day, August 1st. 2007 at approx., 6:00 p.m the 35W bridge collapsed. Many people died and it shut down our city in Minneapolis. It was a main artery in Minnesota. Please take a moment today and think about those who perished, were injured and loved ones. Thanks, LAZ

This old "Red Barn" was saved and restored in our city. It is now used as an antique store. Very difficult shot to capture. Private property by the pond and the only way I could capture the fountain was at the street.

Barbarella74 Well I made the Vodka shrimp! It was good but as you can see I drank most of the vodka b/4 making it. hehehe. Blurry! Actually I don't drink. How much Vodka is in the actual receipe? It was blurry because I didn't have time to change my lens on the camea etc... Had dinner in the works. BTW One of my worst pictures EVER!

I took several pictures today but it seems like the creativity isn't with me. Maybe tomorrow!I took this picture not long ago at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts which houses more than 80,000 objects from diverse cultural traditions spanning 5,000 years of world history. I took this trough glass. One of my favs! Going on a mini vacation.. Should have some good ones.. I hope

I am almost to embarrrassed to upload this shot. My husband just put a new exhaust system on the kids car. "He use to keep the garage clean" He does save us a ton of money on auto repairs. He can fix almost anything! =)
