First day of school! Visited the anthropology department. They have skulls lots and lots of skulls.

Stores and buildings still in need of repair on a rundown section of Freret Street. New orleans has been described as a checkerboard city in that neigborhoods consist of small patches of upper middle class landscaped streets with mansions right next to streets with dilapidated houses; A game largely played in black and white.
