All good things must come to a close... It was our third NC beach week, and It was awesome. We went down to the beach one last time and cried 'why are we teasing ourselves' every time the cool water hit our feet. We said goodbye to everyone and then we were off to reality once again.

Back in NJ with Amperes' family. Her folks took us out for a really amazing Italian dinner. Amperes has really fantastic parents. After 3 years of inviting me into their family, I really couldn't thank them enough for their kindness and generosity.
2
Today, in New York City, Amperes and I saw a Frank Lloyd Wright exhibit at the Guggenheim. ...take about a man's life story coming full circle. It was a great exhibit and I stole this shot while the guards back was turned. To add that extra touch, I love projections onto 3D displays like this one here.

Just chilling with my ShutterCal homies before a flight back west tomorrow.

Ok... In this picture, I am using a digital camera to create an instantly developed image of my view as I watch a movie, and design a 3D space on my laptop computer while soaring through the air at 500 mph, 3,000 feet above the ground in a flying machine. Any one of these things would have blown a humans mind 100 years ago... if you just think about it, it should blow your mind right now.
5
we bought the coolest table from Ikea today, and we are putting it together in our new apartment!
6
the place where you go to get stuff. The red glow draws you in like a human bug lamp... zap! ZAP!
7
today I beat 'ToeJam & Earl' for the Sega Genesis. Vindication after 18 years!
8
Lauren's going away, and this was her party. I met a lot of cool people that i hope to see again. ...and Lauren kicked Amperes and I's ass in beer pong. Bye Lauren!
9
as we all move out and furniture disappears, the girls improvise.
10
Patrick and Lauren helped us move all our bigger furniture over. Patrick's truck is ridiculous.
11
today I woke up in the next place I'll call home

ShutterCal's west coast office. aka: our new apartment.
14
Our new apartment is starting to come together (even if the screws only screw half way)
15
Our own little world.
16
we went to a new grocery store today... it was from the future!!!
17
Department stores are so weird... they bring up so many childhood memories. They are exactly the same as I remember them as a kid! They never change!
18
Amperes and I have been known to frequent the occasional Hooters fine dining establishment. It was 'luau night' ...which basically meant nothing except some goofy music and one waitress wearing a grass skirt.
19
aww-yeah all my little babycakes! The ShutterCal iPhone app is coming soon to an iPhone near you!
20
I honestly don't see what all the fuss is about...

This is our courtyard, it's the most magical place in Pasadena. We have to make sure the gate is locked at all times because everyone and their mother is just dying to break in here and sit on those exclusive chairs.
22
We went to see a LA Dodgers game. Has I sat and was mildly entertained while sipping my $13 beer and eating my $6 dodger dog I asked my self the same question I always ask while sitting in a stadium... 'I wonder if the Romans would have been proud.'

Perfection is a phaenomenon that comes and goes in life. Every so often the bell goes off and you realize that everything in a particular moment is perfect. That was exactly so for nearly 45 minutes today following this shot.
24
I needed to find a place that offered cash back in order to pay for my hair cut. We ended up at a grocery store with a surprisingly large assortment of meats.
25
Santa Monica chess players, and the thousands of stories they have to tell.
26
it's 106 degrees outside ...I have no plans to go out there...
27
of all days not to bring my EOS!!! We went down town and were surprised to see that the fires we have been hearing about are visible from Colorado Ave! It was equally surprising that many people out for the night we not phased in the least bit...
28
today we made it a point to get closer for some good photos of the fires. It was an awesome sight, and I've never seen anything quite like it before. We took a lot of great photos and I chose to post this one- not because it was the best, but because we found a group of kids that were happy to pose for us. I think it shows the closeness of these fires to Pasadena's neighborhoods.

in the future, humans will gather any type of food they desire simply via sterile shopping environment. Picking the items of their choice, they will have an immense variety of foods to choose from- delivered fresh daily from all over the globe...

ShutterCal got a P.O. Box! And our box number is 2407... how cool is that!?
