outside and enjoy the sun with a ice blended drink. At the end of the day i bought a much needed tripod, I am very excited to use it.

went to lunch today with Amperes and Lauren, lauren is looking sporty and very ready for this 4th of July weekend. haha

a lot happened today... we spent a lot of the time by the pool, drinks, food... and then walked over to the rose bowl to see fireworks. I thought it was tool to play with racking focus. It was a good day.

I have been waiting a long time for this day to come. Night swimming is something special, it's fantastic. The water was even warmer than the air, I'm digging the cool California nights they've got over here.

Kimmie's got a (air) gun! ...getting ready for a trip to Vegas. Gas, air check, booze, and snacks.

In my family, everything is a secret not to be repeated. When I took this picture I was sitting on the floor thinking of all the secrets my family asks me to keep. My mother was telling me not to tell my aunt Deborah something... I was also not supposed to let my brother know I was in town for idiotic reasons, and I couldn't even take a picture of the person I came to visit most because... I don't even know anymore. This is me on 03/10/10 going back in time and compromising my entire project just because my crazy older brother thinks this picture is some sort of secret screw-you message to him. My family is totally nuts. They can all rot in Vegas with their rediculous secrecy. I don't want any part of it. If you don't want me to know something don't tell me. And if I'm not supposed to be around don't invite me. I've got friends worth their weight in gold and I don't need this family bullshit, I do better off without them.

Bellagio fountains paired with, 'Ode to Joy' and it was actually quite magnificent.

I'm working on a project for the children's museum. It's a great little project!

It's hard for me to relax most of the time. It's been a long time since I just hung out and watched TV (hulu.com) all night. It was great. It reminded me of summer nights when I was a kid and had no worries in the world.

We looked at a great apartment today. I hope we get it. The landlord's son was selling lemon aid for $1. I could have gotten a much better shot, but I am cautious about pointing cameras at people's kids.

we were bummed about our day of apartment hunting until we found this place (pretty much by accident) we went in, took a look, and before we knew it we were filling an application :)

we ran the 5k 'eco' mud run today ...twas a dirty dirty day.

today was the 2nd annual ShutterCal Meet-up. I don't think the day could have gone better. We got into the city, met AndyTuba, had ice sorbet and checked out some future ShutterCal stuff at Whitelight's place, then Mach5 joined us for a great dinner at El Cantinero, and then we all met up with BaconN'Eggs to watch the new Batman movie on the pier. Afterwords we grabbed a beer at the Crocodile lounge with some pizza. It was pretty great!

This is something my family doesn't do often enough... we took a walk together. This is the new park just placed along the river side in Wilkes-Barre. They did a very nice job!

Rooting through the old family photo shoeboxes... this is a great tradition in my family. It's so much fun to pass the photos to one another and remember things otherwise forgotten in time!

We are on our way to the 3rd annual NC beech week. There are going to be 16 of us this year!

that's Ryan cooking a 90lb pig. We are going to eat and drink like kings for the entire week.

the camera fogs off when I walk out of the air conditioned house and into the humid NC air, but I could care less! Because i'm going to the beach!

Amperes and i had a perfect bike ride in a perfect beach community.

oh man... the greatest seafood dinner ever! Seriously, I can't even explain how good it was. Shrimp scampy, muscles, grilled salmon and tuna, and margaritas. That moment was everything life should be.
