I was running around on the upper west side, and ran into an old co-worker, hanna, from the museum. She asked me what I was up to, and it felt good to tell her I was designing ShutterCal.

there was the craziest lighting outside the studio today. a dark storm rolling towards the autumn sunset . I wish i had my EOS for this one... just had the iPhone on me. Damn.

i usually dry my clothes outside in the yard. recently, that practice lead a spider into my laundry. I am not afraid of spiders... but i don't want them in my pants either... so I have been forced to lay my jeans flat and run my hand across them (just to make sure)

I was happy to host the fall viking dinner, with our viking expert Megan.

the vikings and the beer are gone, but the fortunes of the ruins read the nights past, stays with us. happy autumn!
