I woke up this morning, and 3 hours later, my room was empty.

I volunteered for Obama in Pennsylvania! This ground campaign is astonishingly organized and ready for action. Collectively, we knocked on 1,000,000 doors in PA today- making sure democrats knew where their polls were, and answering all their election day questions.

Today Bill Clinton came to thank us for volunteering for the Obama campaign and talk to us about congressman Kanjorski in Pennsylvania. It was amazing to hear him speak. He has an incredibly positive outlook on life.

two years lead us to this. Voting took 5 minutes this morning, and now all we can do is wait.

Obama won! That makes a Scott feel like he can go out and spend his stimulus check. I got all the basics a guy like me needs. brown shoes, black shoes, running shoes, a months supply of socks and boxer briefs, 8 plain cotton shirts, and 4 plain cotton long sleeve shirts, 2 workout shirts, 3 pairs of jeans, and a pair of casual house pants.

my mom called me out onto the back patio tonight around 2am to take a look at the back yard. it rained earlier, and the leaves were all falling off the trees every time the wend blew. it looked like snow.

I have arrived in California! We went out on the town. Walked around Pasadena. We had dinner at 'Sushi A'float' a cool little place where you just grab whatever you want from the sushi boats that float past.

today I bought a bike. But buying things off craig's list is only half the fun... The other half is the people you meet! This california couple was pretty cool. Graeme is a retired investment banker from Australia who's lived in Tokyo, Hawaii, and just about everywhere else. And Lisa is a 'craigslist master' I was very happy to meet them and buy their bike =)
