I went down to my local reservoir today. I noticed some steps that the ducks were using to get onto land that I thought would give me some leading lines in my shot. I set up with my monopod at the end of the steps and waited for some action to happen. A short while later a family walked right into my view to feed the ducks. A little girl was with her father and was visibly nervous around the ducks and while her back was turned a hungry swan came down the steps behind her looking for some food. She turned round and I managed to get a few good shots of her face to face with this swan before she lost her nerve and daddy had to whisk her away.

Gibson and I did the photography for the Energizer Wilkinson Sword Christmas party last night. The next few will be of that. In this one I have used a 20 second shutter speed to create the effect.
