ShutterCal’ers Let it be known! ShutterCal has hit a big, big milestone today! It is something I know we have been looking forward to...

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are very excited to tell you all that we have just received our first visitor from Kirkintillock, England! I know… It’s all happening so fast. Word of mouth is an amazing thing. So keep telling your friends! …And to whoever it was that told Kirkintillock about ShutterCal, give yourself an extra round of applause!

In related news…
ShutterCal has now been visited by each and every one of the Unites States, as well as 39 other countries including Peru! Bulgaria! and even Canada!!! And all of this just by one person telling another. Thanks everyone!

Recompose

So I attribute this theme to Recompose and his awesome photo of New York City. Theme is LOCATION and it really speaks for itself...Though, I don't want to hear a bunch of you ShutterCal kids stating that you live someplace boring or lame. Location is location, no matter how you perceive it, so shoot us your LOCATION! Let's make this one due June 1...

Also, if anyone wants ShutterCal business cards and you haven't already emailed me, send me an email (Amperes@ShutterCal.com) with your mailing address.

Congratulations to whitelight on completing her first year on ShutterCal! She was one of the earliest ShutterCal members. in fact, she was our very first beta tester, and had the first account set up by mach5 before we even had a sign up page ready! theme 6

Soooo the last theme didn't have as many supporters as I thought it would, but that's ok, there's no pressure to do a theme (obviously). For theme 6, let's try something different.

The theme is going to be FLOOGEN (pronounced: flü gèn) which is a completely fictitious word made up by DefaultArtist and myself...try to imagine what this word would mean/be if it were real and take a picture representing it.

I know this is entirely silly, but I think it's a fun experiment. Due MAY 16!

Also, if anyone wants us to mail them ShutterCal.com business cards and they haven't already told me so, email me at Amperes@ShutterCal.com w/ your mailing address and username!
