ok, some of you have expressed interest in having ShutterCal business cards as seen on Whitelight's cal This is entirely doable! Send me an email (amperes@shuttercal.com) with your address and I'll get working on mailing you a couple of cards. Help us spread the word about how awesome we are! You may have noticed a slight change in the design of this site. OK, not slight. Pretty cool, eh? Be sure to check out the brand new User Directory. We have more features coming soon, namely favorites and voting. Exciting, no? Let us know what you think! Well, there's no denying it, spring is officially here (in New York City). Flowers are blooming, trees are greening, tank tops are coming out. Perfect for taking nice pictures if you ask me...good lighting, lots of subjects, vibrant colors...What a fabulous time of year, unless you have allergies, in which case, it's a snotty time of year. Or if you're Sari, you seem to have this sort of climate all year round, but for the rest of us, it's really tough to stay indoors while it's so nice out. So in this vein of thought, theme number 5 will be REBIRTH and it will be due APRIL 30!! Congrats to Sari for hitting a full year of ShutterCal! Check out her adventures over in Oceania, complete with crazy birds, beautiful scenery, and her cat Nemo: STARTING HERE! well, i have yet to figure out a schedule for this whole theme thing...but who really needs a schedule anyway? random is the key to life, schedules just make us become stale quicker... =P theme 4 is upon us! the due date will be April 19 and the theme will be....drumroll please... ESCAPE Happy April Fools Day everyone! Our third theme is going to kick off April, this picture will be due by the 8th. You photographers have 1 week!! In lieu of my recent rejection from the University of Hawaii graduate school, the third theme is going to be DISAPPOINTMENT...because I'm in a crummy mood, sorry. Happy photo hunting! |
