March 2008 Archive

The feature EVERYONE has been asking for

You can now edit your thumbnails on your calendar! When looking at a photo you took, click edit, then click on a the photo and drag around the box to change it. Pretty damn sweet! Hooray for boring Saturday mornings.

UPDATE: Theres a bug, where pictures taken before march 1st won't save the new thumbnail on the first try. Sorry for the annoyance, but I have no idea why this happens.

UPDATE #2: FIXED!

UPDATE #3: Doesn't work in internet explorer/avast because stupid microsoft doesn't can't comply to standards. For best results for this site, use firefox, you'll thank me later.

second theme

Wow, I have been away from Shuttercal for approx. 1 week and I come back to all of these new fangled features. Sweet! A big round of applause for mach5!

So the first theme seemed to be a hit, which is fantastic. Everyones pics were nice, I liked all of the creative ways to represent "love". You guys all get metaphorical gold stars!

So now that we got the first theme out of the way, let's get started on the second ShutterCal theme which will be HOT. Interpret this however you want...deadline is MARCH 22, so you all have a week to capture HOT in picture form.

And we're back.

Hey guys! Hope you enjoyed the short downtime, it was done because I just gave the site a nice update. New things include image rotation, an about and FAQ page, and many interface tweaks. Also, on the photo popup, you can now go to the month previous/next by using the links or the arrow keys. As always, let me know when you see bugs. We are still looking into the issues some people have with safari.
