on-site notifications - a tiny seed grows

We've all experienced it...
The horror of our favorite websites doing crazy major upgrades that we all hate (::cough:: facebook ::cough::)
-If only they would ask us what we wanted.
-If only they would let us be part of the process.

We're with ya...
It's hard to let go of features until we feel they are perfect... It's scary to show something that's not 100% yet... but we're just going to throw that fear out the window - and update in stages - so you can see this new stuff and help influence its future.

So today we release the tiny seedling of ShutterCal's on-site notification system. All supporting members get to use it in its infancy, and help it grow into a grand oak-tree of a feature. To use it, select *notifications* from the *+365 extras* on your calendar menubar.

Please blast us with ideas and requests. We are gluttons for design punishment. :)
and have fun!

Great idea! Too bad I don't really get much in the way of notifications to fully utilize this feature :P

Absolutey love the new notifications feature!!! Great job guys. I do have one suggestion however, if we had the ability to reply to comments from within the notifications pane it would make replying to comments that much easier. Keep up the great work!

@brownth this blog post isn't the best place to get a speedy customer service reply. Please use the "contact us" link at the bottom of the site. Their usually answered within hours and you'll get personal attention.

Hi pierro, we never focused on email uploading because it's an aging option. We're focusing on building a good mobile web experience. It's really easy to up through the regular browser on an android, and we've got a nice simple iPhone uploader app. We work on an awesome v2.0 app right now.
